September was busy.
There were early mornings, long days, a few detours, a little ridiculousness, and more than one moment that made me stop and smile.
There was Bubbles, of course.
There were back roads and horses in the fields.
There were good meals, good writing, little reminders to remember my why, and a few lessons about letting people be who they are.
There were ordinary days that turned into stories.
And there were moments that didn’t look important at the time, but somehow became the ones worth remembering.
September wasn’t perfect.
It didn’t need to be.
Full of movement.
Full of laughter.
Full of things still unfolding.
It was full.
And tucked inside all of that was plenty to be grateful for.
So before we turn the page tomorrow, I just want to say:
September, you were lovely.
Onward to October.
Deliberately.
